Poverty, old age, disease, crisis, natural disasters, etc. are known as issues that are given importance, taken into consideration and challenged in Turkey, as in all countries. Combating these difficulties is embodied with the concept of social service and efforts are being made to find solutions through the state, private enterprises or volunteers. The scope and field of social services, which started in the 1960s and continued with the EU harmonization processes, are developing day by day. These developments are wondered by researchers and are frequently studied. For this reason, many studies frequently take into account government policies that address the disadvantaged groups of society, social service workers and the target audience. However, the importance of the management process also develops and comes to the fore with these headings. The purpose of this study is planned to evaluate and examine the role of the manager who manages the process, taking into account the manager process. Thus, it is aimed to contribute to providing a more effective social service with the importance and suggestions of the management and manager role.
